The flight of the fireflies

By Brian J Gonzalez Martinez

While the fireflies fly,

I think of childhood dreams,

When the world was without limits

And love surrounded me with fragrance.

Sitting in the dark,

I contemplate the green trees,

Soft reminder of my creativity

Who longs to be free, brave.

The birds sing of relativity,

And I bathe in the radiant sun,

Looking for a moment of serenity

In a world that feels dazzling.

Lost and fearful,

I’m afraid that the darkness will catch me,

While I’m looking for answers in starry space,

In an infinite sea that opens like a map.

The atoms in my body scream,

And the words vibrate in my mind,

While I struggle to keep my balance,

In a world that feels different.

Gravity is lost,

My heart beats slowly and steadily,

While I’m going through the universe

Feeling lost and inconstant.

My creativity is infinite,

A chaos in my mind that challenges me,

But I still crave the light that illuminates

And a muse that inspires me every day.

In pain and fear,

I’m looking for my inner madness,

Finding peace in the words I write,

That express my joy and my pain.

With the stroke of a feather,

I create an endless new world,

Defying the laws of gravity,

Dreaming of an uncertain future, but endless.

I find wisdom and strength,

In the words I write,

Discovering the answers I’m looking for,

In the depths of my hidden being.

Each situation has a profound meaning,

And on my journey through life I discover,

Love, balance and energy,

Guiding my destiny as a flow.

This world is a mystery,

But I’m looking to escape and create,

A reality free of fear,

These are my last words before levitating.
